Patients having transfer of frozen embryos are typically prescribed drugs costing between £150 and £410 to prepare their uterus for embryo transfer. When treatment is successful, we prescribe additional medication up to the 10th week of pregnancy. This cost of this further luteal support medication is £225. Our research has shown that 33% of our patients don’t absorb enough progesterone medication from pessaries. In these patients we recommend use of injectable progesterone as “rescue luteal support” up to pregnancy test and then up to 10 weeks of pregnancy. The cost of this medication is £795. |

If you are accessing treatment using frozen donated embryos, the registration fee paid for services to match you with an embryo donor is non-refundable. £2,080 If your frozen donated embryo does not survive the thawing process or you are withdrawn from the treatment by your clinician for clinical reasons or if you withdraw from treatment after starting your treatment, you will be refunded your package fee less £2,000 which is the cost of infectious and genetic screening of the egg and sperm provider; counselling support and preparation of the egg and sperm provider for donation; transfer of your embryos to your chosen Care clinic, and your support and preparation for treatment. |
