What’s included in our most advanced fertility package

Egg collection with sedation

Retrieval of your eggs is included, performed under sedation to ensure comfort and accuracy during the procedure.

Extended culture to blastocysts

Extended culture is used to help select the best embryos from the group for your transfer.

First Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET)

Your initial embryo transfer is included in this package. We carefully plan and manage the timing and conditions of the transfer to maximise your chances of implantation success. This step is crucial for optimising your fertility treatment and achieving a positive outcome.

Monitoring scans and in-treatment blood tests

Regular monitoring through scans and blood tests is essential to track your progress and adjust treatment as needed. This includes tracking hormone levels and assessing your response to stimulation.

First pregnancy scan or post treatment review

The initial scan after your embryo transfer to check for early signs of pregnancy and confirm that implantation has occurred.

Freezing of additional embryos & 1st year storage

This component includes secure storage for your embryos and gametes for the first year. We use state-of-the-art facilities to ensure that your samples are preserved under the best conditions, providing you with peace of mind and flexibility throughout your treatment.

Fertility support counselling

Our Fertility Support Counselling provides emotional and psychological support during your fertility journey. You receive up to three sessions with our experienced counsellors, offering a safe space to discuss your feelings and concerns.

*Great success rates

Care data from 2016 to 2020 confirms that live birth rates for euploid embryo transfers remain consistent across all age groups, except for those 43 and older. Key findings include:

  • Live Birth Rates:

    • 42% chance of live birth after 1 euploid embryo transfer

    • 76% chance after 2 euploid embryo transfers

    • 86% chance after 3 euploid embryo transfers

  • Embryo Availability:

    • Under 40 years: Over 50% will have at least one euploid embryo per cycle

    • Ages 40-42: 30% will have at least one euploid embryo per cycle

Caremaps-AI

CareMaps-AI® is Care Fertility’s advanced embryo selection technology. Developed over a decade, it uses time-lapse imaging, artificial intelligence, consistent lab protocols and quality data from nearly half a billion images from over 60,000 embryos and thousands of live births. This cutting-edge, non-invasive technique helps embryologists identify the embryos with the highest potential for successful birth, offering more precise assessments than traditional methods such as morphology or time-lapse imaging alone. Available at all Care Fertility clinics in the UK, CareMaps-AI® significantly improves the chances of success.

Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy (PGT-A)

This advanced genetic testing assesses the quality of your embryos before implantation. By identifying any chromosomal abnormalities, PGT-A allows us to select the healthiest embryos for transfer, improving the chances of a successful pregnancy and reducing the risk of miscarriage.

Embryo banking

Our comprehensive service for banking ensures that your eggs and sperm are managed with the highest standards of care. This includes safe storage and efficient handling, allowing you to focus on your treatment while we take care of the details.

Endometrial assessment

This included assessment evaluates the health and receptivity of your endometrial lining, which is crucial for successful embryo implantation. By assessing the condition of your uterine lining, we can make informed decisions to optimise your chances of a successful pregnancy.

Medication costs

Please be aware that medication costs are not included in the package. The cost of medications will vary based on your specific treatment plan and requirements.

Medications play a crucial role in fertility treatment, and your fertility specialist will provide a tailored prescription based on your unique needs. These medications might include hormonal treatments, fertility drugs, and other specialised prescriptions to support your journey.

We’ll ensure you have a clear understanding of any medication costs, so that you can manage your expenses effectively. If you have questions about medication costs, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to guide you through every step of your treatment.

The Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) test measures a protein hormone produced by cells in your ovaries. This test helps us understand your ovarian egg reserve and overall fertility, which is essential for tailoring your treatment plan.

If you’re looking to have a baby as soon as possible, Care Enhanced and Care Advanced are designed to streamline the IVF process. Unlike conventional IVF, which typically involves a single cycle of egg collection and fresh embryo transfer, these treatments offer multiple cycles of egg collection (typically 2-3) back-to-back. This approach reduces delays between cycles and speeds up the frozen embryo transfer (FET) process.

Additionally, Care Enhanced and Advanced include advanced techniques such as PGT-A, which optimises embryo selection, and comprehensive assessments of endometrial health and timing. These features contribute to a higher success rate and a more efficient treatment.

If you plan to expand your family in the future, Care Enhanced and Care Advanced are designed with this in mind. These treatments include a clinical pathway that assesses the optimal number of embryos you may need based on your age and other factors. This approach helps ensure you can achieve your current goal of having a baby while also considering your future family plans.
